Session

The Session is the government of the church. Our Session makes decisions about worship, activities, and the physical building. There are 15 members from the congregation that are elected by the congregation to serve 3 year terms as members of the session. Our session is made up of 5 committees and three elders are on each committee.

Administration Committee: This committee is responsible for the budget of the church and upkeep of the church building. Personnel, subcommittee of Administration, is responsible for the evaluation and continuing education of professional and non-professional staff. Worship and Music: This committee plans Sunday worship and enhancements to worship. Its purpose is to make worship a meaningful part of the life of the congregation. Outreach Committee: This committee is responsible for reaching out through mission. Now I Lay Me Down is one of their programs. They also try to reach out to new members and visitors. Click here to visit the Outreach page.

Christian Education: This committee is responsible for program implementation of adult and youth Sunday school, confirmation, junior and senior high education and Teen Fellowship, and Bible study. Click here to visit the Christian Education page.
